Value-Add
We all come to therapy with a history. My life experiences, particularly my twenty years as a Caltech- and Harvard-trained Ph.D. level biomedical scientist and biotech executive before I became a therapist, my own healing work to release the impact of complex childhood trauma, motherhood and marriage have shaped my active, data-driven approach to counseling, and my commitment to keeping up-to-date with the latest clinical literature. This makes it easy for me to connect with individuals in the fields of science, technology, management and law.
Many of my life experiences contribute to the breadth and depth of my ability to relate to clients who have strong analytical skills and are under considerable pressure professionally and with respect to work-life balance.
My LinkedIn profile lists my prior professional experience, academic pedigree, license agreements, patents, peer-reviewed publications and management experience.
As a first-generation immigrant from Austria, I have native speaker proficiency in English and German.
